The Jewels Belly Dance Company is a Delaware based non-profit organization founded and lead by Layla Ali. Founded in 2001, “The Jewels” perform many different sub-genres of belly dance including Egyptian, Turkish, Cabaret, Tribal, Tribal Fusion, Gothic, and Burlesque.

Their mission is to provide fun, fitness, and support to women (and men!) of all ages, races, and sizes. “The Jewels” are also on a mission to spread awareness and appreciation for the art of Middle-Eastern dance. They live in the moment, and help others embrace the joy of life that can only be captured and expressed through dance.

Both collectively and individually, The Jewels Belly Dance Company are sought after performers who entertain crowds with their high energy performances. They have quickly developed a reputation for unique and humorous choreographies that captivate audiences. They can be seen numerous times throughout the year in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
